About Alendu Village Mission
Alendu Village Mission began in 2006 with a simple conviction: no child should learn on an empty stomach.
What began as a gathering of eager, hungry children has grown into a structured feeding program serving over 150 children five days a week in Alendu, Kenya.
Our Story
How It Works
This mission is a partnership built on love and shared purpose:
Faithful Co-Creator Friend
From the very beginning, dear friends have walked alongside this mission — not just as donors but as strategic partners involved in decision making and planning from inception. Their generosity, shared vision, and unwavering commitment made both the feeding program and Haha Mango Farm possible. This mission would not exist without them.
Highland View Church
A cornerstone partner from the start — HVC helped launch the feeding program and continues to fundraise annually, keeping the mission moving forward year after year.
Individual Donors and Friends
Friends and church members who give consistently and quietly make a difference every week. Every gift, large or small, is felt by the children of Alendu.
Our Team
Alendu Village Mission is led by a dedicated founder and coordinator who works closely with the feeding team and farm worker on the ground — ensuring every dollar reaches the children it was meant for.
Why It Matters
Every person in this partnership is seen, valued, and essential. Together we are building something that will outlast all of us — a sustainable future for the children of Alendu.
"No child should learn on an empty stomach."
